Photo Share: Common Bulbul in Egypt

A photo taken in Cairo, Egypt. Heckel & Jeckel?

The Common Bulbul (Pycnonotus barbatus) ~ Bulbul des jardins ~ in a sea of blossoms of the Flame Tree ~ The Flamboyant (Ponciana regia).

Original photo can be seen in my Photo Stream. Thank you. http://www.flickr.com/photos/rachidh
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Common_Bulbul
The Common Bulbul is usually seen in pairs or small groups. They eat fruit, nectar and insects and tend to sit at the top of a bush. As with other bulbuls they are active and noisy birds. Their bouncy flight is woodpecker-like and their call is a loud doctor-quick doctor-quick be-quick be-quick.

Wow! What a wonderful photo. It's nice to learn about different birds. Thank you for sharing your photo! If anyone else would like to share a photograph of nature send it to bloubird@gmail.com and I'll put it on the Friday Photo posts.
